When are the last days?

Acts 2:17 (ESV)

17 “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

Peter understands the present time to be the last days with the outpouring of the Spirit serving as evidence of this reality. The last days is the Messianic age in which God will fully accomplish all the promises he made to his people. These days began from the time when the Word took on flesh (John 1:1–14) but especially from his resurrection onwards. These days will end when he returns in glory.1
