This verse already speaks in advance of the victory that the Lord gives as an answer to prayer. That is why people wave their banners. In the last part of this verse, the Lord is asked (as a summary of the previous verses) to fulfill all the king’s wishes.
5 May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions!
