The healing miracles are signs of the kingdom. In the kingdom that Christ is bringing, there will be no more sickness, no more bodily infirmity, no more power of the devil over people, no more sorrow or pain. A new world is truly coming. The first signs are already there.
23 And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.
