Psalm 57:8 (ESV)

8 Awake, my glory! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!

If we are to understand this verse literally, it seems to suggest that David emerged from the darkness of the cave early in the morning and composed this psalm at daybreak.

The word dawn or morning is also used in the psalms (see also Psalm 5:3; Psalm 30:5; Psalm 59:16; Psalm 88:13; Psalm 130:5–6) to indicate deliverance after a night of suffering.
