Ezra 10:3–17 (ESV)

3 Therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law.

Sometimes God asks us to do incredibly difficult things…incredibly difficult things where you have to make a judgment call and pray to God that he would give you wisdom. Is that where you are [today]? You are not in this problem [of the Scripture passage], but God is asking you to make a difficult thing, do a difficult thing, or say a difficult thing. And, oh, that God would give you the wisdom, courage, tenacity, and downright forthrightness to do it as a humble servant of the Lord, putting God's glory first and personal issues last. Oh, that God would give us that spirit.1
