If life does not make any sense to you and you do not see any purpose in the trials that have come your way, your basic problem is that you lack wisdom. And if you lack wisdom, what are you supposed to do? Well, you are supposed to ask God for it. God is a God who gives generously to all without finding fault. And so, if you ask, our text says, it will be given to you.1
