How does Moses react to God telling him who it is that is talking to him?
Exodus 3:6 (ESV)
6And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.
He covers his face not to see the Lord. Moreover, he cannot see God’s face (see Exodus 33:23). Moses meets God but cannot face him.
