The apostles are eyewitnesses of Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and ascension. They can thus confirm that he has risen from the dead and ascended on high. The Holy Spirit is another witness who bears testimony to Jesus.1 His gracious presence and activity becomes evident when an individual comes to faith in Jesus Christ.2
32 And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
