25Then he took the fat and the fat tail and all the fat that was on the entrails and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat and the right thigh,
The fat was used in the wave offering that the Lord commanded Moses to observe in Exodus 29:22–24. The present description is an almost word for word repetition of the Exodus passage (see commentary on Leviticus 7:28–30).
