What is distinct about this wave offering?

Leviticus 8:25–29 (ESV)

25 Then he took the fat and the fat tail and all the fat that was on the entrails and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat and the right thigh,

Normally the right thigh (Leviticus 7:31–33) and the bread (Leviticus 7:11–14) would be eaten by the priests. However, at the ordination ceremony these elements are presented on the priests’ behalf. As such, they are not allowed to consume any part of the sacrifice. Moses receives these portions as the officiating priest and only then gives them to Aaron and his sons.
