Once again, similar to the angel, we are not told exactly how the Spirit spoke to Philip. He is frequently involved in the book of Acts, directing events (Acts 10:19; Acts 11:12; Acts 13:2, Acts 13:4; Acts 16:6–7).1 Similar to the angel of the Lord, the active involvement of the Spirit confirms that the Lord is controlling and planning the spread of the good news concerning Jesus Christ.
