In what way does Paul expect Philemon to do even more than what he has asked?
Philemon 1:21 (ESV)
21Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.
It could be that Paul is suggesting or hinting at manumission, whereby Philemon would be set free from his position as a slave.1 Alternatively it is a veiled request for Onesimus to be sent back to Paul by Philemon so that he can be of help to him.2
