Psalm 87
Psalm 87:1–7 looks forward to and celebrates the day on which God’s people will include those who come from lots of different places. Specifically, it mentions those who come from Ethiopia. This would be a good song to sing after your sermon as a reminder of the catholicity of God’s church.
26 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place.
