The Lord’s wrath is upon sinners who come into his presence without a covering. When the ark of the Lord is in the midst of the Philistines, plagues and death break out amongst the people.
The Lord is powerful. He can bring plagues amongst a people at will. He can control the actions of cows.
The Lord is holy. He cannot be approached in any way that we please.
