2 Kings 25:29 (ESV)

29 So Jehoiachin put off his prison garments. And every day of his life he dined regularly at the king’s table,

It is also telling that Jehoiachin could exchange his prison clothes, which identified him as a prisoner, for a different outfit, and looking at what follows—Jehoiachin was admitted to the king’s court—he will have worn clothes suitable for use in the palace. It literally says that Jehoiachin continually ate bread before his (i.e., the king’s) face. At the king’s table one wore suitable clothes.
