What does Manoah’s prayer reveal about his heart?

Judges 13:8 (ESV)

8 Then Manoah prayed to the LORD and said, “O Lord, please let the man of God whom you sent come again to us and teach us what we are to do with the child who will be born.”

Manoah is apparently resentful that the heavenly messenger appeared to his wife instead of him. So he prays, which is good, but his prayer is not good; he wants the man of God to deal directly with him. His repeated use of the pronoun “us” suggests a measure of jealousy.
