15The LORD has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.
The term “the judgments,” alternately translated “punishments,” refers to the Lord’s legal sentence of condemnation against the city. This sentence has been annulled; Zion no longer stands under the condemnation of the Lord (see further Romans 8:1).
