Philippians 2:28 (ESV)

28 I am the more eager to send him, therefore, that you may rejoice at seeing him again, and that I may be less anxious.

Again, Paul wants to cut off any possible criticism anyone may have on the unexpected fast return of Epaphroditus. With this he sensitively lets them know that he does not want to hurt anyone. On the contrary, he has fast-tracked the return of Epaphroditus. To bring the Philippians joy that they will see him again soon. Besides, now Paul has one less thing to worry about.
