The difference in translations shows that this is a difficult verse; as is Psalm 49:13. One translation reads, Their grave are their homes forever.
Another translation is, Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
They have enjoyed their riches—houses as well as property. But what is their end? Their end is the grave, and with that fits the translation, the grave are their home forever.
Once again, the dead cannot do anything with their possessions.
11 Their graves are their homes forever, their dwelling places to all generations, though they called lands by their own names.
