The rulers of this world reject the gospel, for example, King Herod (Matthew 2:1–23). Opponents of the gospel will also be there where you least expect it. Be warned. People who often have the same outlook on life as you do, can turn against you in a cruel way. The gospel no longer suits mankind since man chose God’s enemy (Genesis 3:1–24). Count on them to receive you as an enemy. Friend
