Hosea 2:1–23 (ESV)

1 Say to your brothers, “You are my people,” and to your sisters, “You have received mercy.”

  1. Accusation of adultery and consequent discipline (Hosea 2:2–13)

  2. The merciful promise of covenant restoration (Hosea 2:14–23)1

Once again the break between these two sections is well-established because it follows the pattern we have observed in Hosea 1:1 – 2:1: the predicament of judgment giving way to the promise of restoration.
