4So Samson went and caught 300 foxes and took torches. And he turned them tail to tail and put a torch between each pair of tails.
Like Gideon, Samson raised an army of three hundred, along with some torches, to take on the Lord’s enemy. In Samson’s case, however, his army was made up of foxes instead of fellow Israelites. For Samson always fights alone.
