What does Samson’s victory song recall?

Judges 15:16 (ESV)

16 And Samson said, “With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps upon heaps, with the jawbone of a donkey have I struck down a thousand men.”

To mark his victory, Samson sings a little song. This calls to mind when Deborah also sang a song of victory, in Judges 5:1–31, where she praised God for his help. But Samson the narcissist sings a song where he gives the glory and praise to himself. The song makes no mention of the Lord, unlike Deborah’s song. Even though it was God who equipped him, he has nothing to say about anyone but himself.
