Psalm 146:7 (ESV)

7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free;

Verbatim, Psalm 146:6 says that God is the creating One of heaven, earth, and sea; he is the Keeper of truth. In the same way, this verse says in the first part that God is the One who executes the right of the oppressed; in the second part, it says that he is the Giver of food to the poor. The third part of Psalm 146:7 starts another section, and this continues until and includes the first sentence of Psalm 146:9.

Five sentences begin with the Lord after which a characteristic of the Lord is said in that sentence. The first sentence reads: The Lord sets the prisoners free. Perhaps this reflects on the return from exile. Some words used in this psalm also argue for the late dating of this psalm.
