So, also the sun irresistibly runs her course in the heavens. The second image of a strong man who runs his course also emphasizes the sun’s strength. It is unstoppable. As without any effort, it courses through the heavens. The promise from Judges 5:31 is telling here: But your friends be like the sun as he rises in his might.
