1 Peter 4:12–16 draws out the positives of suffering on account of your Christian identity. To encourage the Christian further, 1 Peter 4:17–18 shifts attention to the outcome awaiting the ungodly. 1 Peter 4:19 instructs the children of God in their suffering to entrust themselves to their almighty Creator.
