It is better to suffer as a result of following the Master, Jesus Christ, for you are not only sharing in the suffering of Jesus Christ, but you are also going to be blessed on the last day, when the grace is revealed to us. Therefore, believers need not fear, but endure, because victory is ours in Christ.
17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
