The Lord has created the stars and has given them names. You encounter this thought more often in the Old Testament (as in Psalm 8:3; Psalm 19:1; Isaiah 40:26). The thinking is then as follows: he who has made all this surely has the power to accomplish the rebuilding of Israel and to heal the wounds of those returning from exile.
