What does it mean to be a son of Abraham?

Galatians 3:7 (ESV)

7 Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham.

A son of Abraham is someone who has a right to and shares in the blessing that was promised to Abraham. The focus of the blessing was the good news of God forgiving sin and granting eternal life in his presence (Hebrews 11:8–16).1
