When Paul visited the Galatians and proclaimed the gospel to them (see Acts 13:1 – 14:28), he spent time teaching them to abstain from sinful practices. He testified to the fact that those who indulge the desires of the flesh, thereby, show themselves to be without the transforming gift of faith.1
21 envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
