25And they took in their hands some of the fruit of the land and brought it down to us,and brought us word again and said, ‘It is a good land that the LORD our God is giving us.’
The spies returned with both some samples of the fruit of the land and a positive report about the land, that it was a good land they were soon to possess. This report confronted the Israelites with a decision.
