Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd who cares for his sheep by sending them under-shepherds who must minister his word to them (1 Peter 5:1–5). Psalm 23 testifies to the goodness of our Shepherd and reminds us that he cares for us. This will be a good song to sing in response to your sermon.
