The peace offering is singled out because it was the high point of the sacrificial system. All the sacrifices led up to the peace offering as the heart of worship. To offer the peace offering was to claim to be at peace with God, to be keeping the commandments, to be enjoying his benefits, and to be offering all the prescribed sacrifices leading up to this celebration.
