As they did with Stephen (Acts 6:8–10), so the Greek speaking Jews seek to do the same to Saul. They tended to be very loyal to the law of Moses and the temple seeing as they had suffered for their faith and spent most of their lives as a minority.1 As a result, they respond very strongly whenever there is a perceived threat to their traditions or a challenge to their theological convictions.
