The word now
indicates that Elihu has come to his conclusion. He concludes that God’s wisdom is like the sun. Our eyes cannot bear to look at the sun directly. Likewise, we cannot pry into God’s plans and purposes. At most, we can only form a limited idea of God’s wisdom, as one looks at the sun when it is hidden behind clouds.
