From whom does the sharp two-edged sword come?

Revelation 2:12 (ESV)

12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: ‘The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword.

In John’s description of Jesus Christ as he saw him on the island, this “sharp two-edged sword” came “from [Jesus’] mouth” (Revelation 1:16; see commentary on this verse).
