In Philippians 1:12–26, Paul provides an example of the progress of God’s work in the context of his own circumstances. Even though he is experiencing difficult times as a prisoner, the gospel is not compromised. On the contrary, God knows how to turn the opposition against Paul into an advantage for Christ and the good news of salvation!¹
