Esther 5:13 (ESV)

13 Yet all this is worth nothing to me, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.”

Yet, Haman childishly complained, the presence of Mordecai was enough to extinguish his enjoyment of his wealth, his sons, and his honour. After all, he still had eleven months to wait for the day when Mordecai and his people would be put to death!
