14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.

This letter begins and ends with the notion of the throne (ruler of God’s creation, Revelation 3:14; sit with me on my throne, Revelation 3:21). The wealth the Christian receives climaxes at this throne: I will grant him to sit with me. It is worth noting that the next chapters pay specific attention to the throne of God and of the Lamb.
