Ezra 6:19–22 (ESV)

19 On the fourteenth day of the first month, the returned exiles kept the Passover.

The final verses of Ezra 6 are written in Hebrew and not in Aramaic. This signifies that these verses are the conclusion of the chapter and also the conclusion of Ezra 1-6 as a whole.1 With the restoration of the temple, the first stage of community restoration is complete. The people of God have sought first the kingdom of God.2
