The two signs
of this paragraph were intended to underscore the reliability and validity of the elders’ declaration in Revelation 11:15. The fact that the newborn was snatched away from the jaws of the dragon and taken to the throne of God (and all that in the face of the woman’s helplessness) distinctly illustrates the accuracy of the elder’s declaration.
