13Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?”
The elder asks John two questions: 1. Who are the persons in this multitude, dressed as they are in white robes? 2. From where have these persons come? The two questions, of course, are interconnected. We may expect answers in the following verses.
