Amos 5:18—6:14 has focused a lot on misplaced confidence and the need for our faith to be seen in actions. Psalm 15 would be a good song to sing together with a sermon from Amos. Psalm 15 reminds us that if we worship the Lord, then God expects us to worship him in all of life and not only in the songs we sing. True worship, true faith must be seen in deeds of justice and righteousness.
