Psalm 142 and Psalm 73
There are a number of psalms that would be especially appropriate for a sermon on Joshua 13. Psalm 135:10–12 and Psalm 136:17–21 make mention of Sihon, Og, and the inheritance of the land. Either of them would be a good psalm to sing before the sermon. Psalm 142:5 and Psalm 73:26 testify to the fact that Israel’s true inheritance (portion) was found in relationship with God. Either of them would be a good psalm to sing after the sermon.
