Solomon brings peace by doing justice. Peace
(shalom) not only means no war, but also that people live in harmony and prosperity. No one should fear revenge. That was what the time under Solomon’s reigning was like. He was the king of peace: peace with God and peace with one another.
Remove the dross from the silver,
and a silversmith can produce a vessel;
remove wicked officials from the king’s presence,
and his throne will be established through righteousness.
Proverbs 25:4–5
33 So shall their blood come back on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever. But for David and for his descendants and for his house and for his throne there shall be peace from the LORD forevermore.”
