What does Mark 10:13–16 reveal about who God (the Father) is?
These verses show us that God is gracious. His kingdom is to be received like a little child. He bestows his love and favour upon people not because of any goodness within them but because he graciously and sovereignly chooses to love and save. In the words of Exodus 33:19: “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
