Revelation of God the Father

Joshua 21:1–42 (ESV)

1 Then the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites came to Eleazar the priest and to Joshua the son of Nun and to the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the people of Israel.

What does Joshua 21 reveal about who God the Father is? The Lord is faithful to his promises. He gave instructions to Moses regarding the establishment of cities for the Levites. Now, through Joshua, he has ensured that these cities are set up in accordance with what he commanded/promised previously.

The Lord communicates with his people. Through the Levites the Lord will ensure that his precepts and commandments are heard throughout the land of Israel.

The Lord provides for his people through means. God has given everything necessary to his people for them to care for his servants (the Levites). He uses means to care for his people.
