Where else do golden earrings appear in Scripture?
Judges 8:24 (ESV)
24And Gideon said to them, “Let me make a request of you: every one of you give me the earrings from his spoil.” (For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.)
Other than here, the only occurrence of gold earrings is another incident of cultic transgression, Exodus 32:2–3, where Aaron collected all the golden earrings from Israel, put them into a fire, and fashioned a golden calf.
