[Jude] says,
Nick BatzigMercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.Sometimes we have the faulty notion that,Well, way back then God was merciful and gracious to me, but somehow we do not need that mercy and grace every day of our life. And I think what Jude is doing is the same thing Peter is doing. He is saying, may God give you more mercy; may he make his mercy abound toward you. May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. May God's mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you in the midst of all the difficulties, the temptations, and the trials...Jude is saying, may God give you those things, because you are the called, the sanctified, and the kept in Jesus Christ. We are to seek those things too, and be praying that God would give us more of those things.1
2 May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
