Revelation 14:14–20 begins with a vision of Jesus Christ. This verse forms the hinge upon which the entirety of Revelation 14:6–20 turns and sets the tone for the activities of the 3 angels of Revelation 14:15–20. The appearance of this set of three angels divides in turn into two subsections, with the first describing a grain harvest (Revelation 14:15–16), and the second describing a grape harvest (Revelation 14:17–20).
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.
